Introduction to the HKSKH Archives

Anglican and Episcopal churches have historically valued tradition in our system of faith and practice. As such, the maintenance and continued development of an archives are important in themselves for our province. The archives will help us develop a better understanding of our history from the nineteenth century to the present, so that we may learn from the past as we look toward the future.

The archives is developing a small library of important reference books and historical studies which will assist us in our work. The library will also include rare books and materials on the history of Christianity in China, especially works on the Anglican tradition. Of particular interest are the various editions of the Chinese Book of Common Prayer, in both original and digitized formats.
