Learning about the Archives

Date: Tuesday 11 Jul 2023

The Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Archives organized a two-day workshop for four of our interns to learn about conservations and related activities.  The interns not only learned how to make archival boxes, make glue and repair torn papers, but they were also introduced to traditional Chinese bookbinding and each of them made a book. In addition, they were introduced to the work processes of our Archives and the history of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui. The workshop was a great success and the interns gained a better understanding of the work of the Archives and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui.
