Learning about the Archives

We have two interns in our Archives this summer. During the first week of August, we arranged a workshop for them to learn about the daily operations of the Archives and to learn about document preservation. Our staff gave them a detailed introduction to file management and let them try repairing damaged papers and making archival boxes. After the two-day workshop, both interns had a better understanding of the work of the archives.

Eileen Yim is a graduate of Ming Hua Theological College, and is at present participating in the advanced IASACT scholarly program sponsored by the United Board. She is a member of the choir at SKH All Saints Cathedral.

Alex Lo is an undergraduate student of The University of Toronto. He plans to major in History and East Asian Studies with a minor in Anthropology in the coming academy year. He is a member of SKH St. Philip’s Church.
