Date: Friday 02 Jul 2021

The HKSKH Archives arranged a tour to St. Paul’s College and St. Stephen’s Church on June 30 afternoon. The interns had an opportunity to explore the history of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui School and Church.

Interns and staff visited St. Paul’s College Archives and appreciated the warm welcome from Mr. Yuen Dick Yan, Dennis, the principal of St. Paul’s College and teachers. We enjoyed the exhibition of school heritage and archival records. Then, the staff of the college introduced the online history gallery of St. Paul’s College which illustrated various important moments in the history of the college.

After that, we visited St. Stephen’s Church. Dr. Ruiwen Chen, the researcher of our Archives shared the history of the church and showed the historical artifacts and manuscripts of the church in the reading room. This visit gave our interns more insights into the traditions and stories of HKSKH churches.
