The Course of Conservation of Books and Documents has begun

The Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Archives invited Mr. Lai Chun Ying, a noted expert on book conservation, and Miss Emma Lau, a book conservation specialist, to conduct a short course of Conservation of Books and Documents. In the first lesson, Miss Lau introduced some fundamental concepts and tools of the documents conservation works. Mr. Lai demonstrated some basic skill of conservation works.

Besides the staff of our Archives, a colleague from Ming Hua Theological College Library, a Library Assistant of HK Polytechnic University Library, a resident representative of Ricci Hall Students' Association Hong Kong University Students' Union and a church member from The Hong Kong Council of the Church of Christ in Chinese also joined the course.
