Visitors form the Church of Our Saviour, Canton and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council

Next year will be the 100th Anniversary of the consecration of the Church of Our Saviour, Canton. During a visit to Hong Kong, their Pastors, the Revd Chen Yi Nuo and the Revd Zhao Li Dao together with the Revd Peter Cheng of Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui and the Revd Yung Chuen Hung, Publisher of the Chinese Christian Literature Council, visited our Archives on 18 October 2018. They had a good meeting and exchange of views about the history of the Church of Our Saviour with our Provincial Archivist, the Revd Professor Philip L. Wickeri and they toured around our exhibition corner.

In the same afternoon, another group of visitors came from the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council.They were Mr. Joe Sham, Assistant Director, Miss Tam Wai Ming, Service Director and Dr. Chan Wai Chi, volunteer of the Welfare Council. Professor Wickeri introduced the guests to our Archives work and collections, followed by a guided tour.
